On November 4, 2009, Puente students met Alex Espinoza, the author of “Still Water Saints.”

Some of our Puentistas attended the “Cash for College Night”.
This workshop is sponsored by COS Outreach.
Over 150 students and parents came to fill out their FAFSA,
get Financial Aid information, and enter for a chance to win a $1,000 scholarship.

The fundraiser was attended by close to 50 people.

The club held their final meeting for 2009. The club made plans for Spring 2010 and enjoyed a potluck lunch!
The 2009 Puente State Motivational Conference was held at Sacramento State. We toured the State Capitol and had a great time!
